DaWanda Backstage

Hi everyone!

Thank you for all your great comments and messages about DaWanda’s visit to Dublin! I am really looking forward to sharing some more exciting news with you today!

The next round of Sample Packages from DaWanda is on the way! We will be a proud sponsor of Fashion Evolution, an upcoming ethical fashion event taking place in Ireland’s capital city and spanning over a week. This special event is dedicated to raise awareness on ethical and environmental issues within the Irish and international fashion industry.

The launch party for Fashion Evolution will take place on April 24th at the Button Factory in Dublin’s cultural quarter, Temple Bar, and will be attended by some very special guests, in particular for the public debate on the launch night with fashion designer Katharine Hamnett.

(Famous for her thought provoking work in the fashion industry, Katharine Hamnett recently also joined forces with Designers Against Aids as a part of their campaign to raise AIDS awareness. You can check out the Katharine Hamnett t shirt designed especially for the campaign available from the Designers Against Aids DaWanda shop.)

Special guests attending Fashion Evolution will be the lucky ones to receive DaWanda Sample Packages. If you would like to be included, we want to hear from you!

-There is one sample per shop per package. The more samples you supply, the more packages you will be included in.
- Your DaWanda business cards should only have your DaWanda URL and for conformity’s sake, be marked as http://[shop name].dawanda.com.
- Samples should approximately fit to 105 x 148 mm size.
- Submission date for this campaign is April 22nd.

DaWanda is taking part in Fashion Evolution because we support Fair Trade practises and we are part of the movement against mass produced and sweatshop produced goods. As a creator, you are part of that movement too! Even if your work may not be directly related to the theme of Fashion Evolution, please still count yourself in – as a member of the DaWanda community, we want you to be represented and we would like to promote your work!
