DaWanda Backstage

Hi everyone!

Hello from hot and melty Berlin! I hope you are enjoying the sunshine, or cooling off in the shade : )

When we put press packs for DaWanda together, of course we like to include samples of work from artists and designers that are part of the DaWanda community. If you would like samples of your work to be included in our outgoing press packs, we invite you to send us in your samples and business cards. Please check out the guidelines below and get in touch!

- please mail your samples to me directly: DaWanda GMBH, Elizabeth – Press pack samples, Linienstr. 139 – 140, Berlin 10115, Germany

-your samples can be of any size, within reason i.e able to fit into a 27 cm x 20 cm envelope

- If you choose to send business cards, please supply a business card for every sample you send in. Any business cards that accompany your samples should indicate contact information for your DaWanda shop only, using the format http://[shop name].dawanda.com. We may not accept handwritten business cards at this time.

- the press packs are for consideration of a wide range of relevant publications which cover topics related to DaWanda.

- Your samples should engage, invite and entice the recipient to visit DaWanda and check out more of your work! With that in mind, please make sure that your samples have your DaWanda shop URL on them, or your DaWanda business card attached! Be discreet, but also make sure the web address of your shop is clear.

- Obviously, choose high quality samples from your work which appropriately represent your DaWanda shop, and that you are happy to submit for promotional use.

- To avoid any unhappy accidents due to allergy or sensitivities, take care to wrap any beauty products very carefully and securely.

- the submission date is 9th July 2008 16th July 2008! Any samples received after this date will be kept in a safe place : )

Here is an inventive and creative idea for samples which Biliana sent in to us previously:

Biliana offers quirky and creative custom made tote bags in the DaWanda Style Lab and also creates beautiful art work, so this set of “paper” tote bag business cards with beautiful mini prints inside each one, was a genius idea!
