Artist and Designer Market: BELGIUM!

Markt Van Morgen is a market that takes place in the Kloosterstraat Antwerp square, in Belgium’s fashion capital. Markt Van Morgen happens 4 times a year and you can find fashion, jewellery, interior- and graphic design work available to buy from 50 artists and designers. The market attracts a large crowd and our own Kristien from Artemissne will have a stand there! (Kristien’s DaWanda shop is temporarily closed due to some bad luck Kristien had recently losing a box with all of her jewellery inside).
Artemissne says, “If there are other Dawanda people participating they can give me a shout! I’m creating a facebook group for it so everyone who wants can join.”
We can supply promotional DaWanda sample packs, flyers and posters for your stands if you are taking part!
Here’s Kristien’s rundown of the essential information about the market:
* The art/design market is called “Markt van Morgen”, which means market of tomorrow

* where? Kloosterstraat, 2000 Antwerpen near the Vismijn (google map) (Antwerp is sort of Belgium’s Milan, with a fashion design academy and a bunch of designers, so the market is located in that trendy side of town…you could combine the art market with some serious window shopping for designer clothes and a visit to the fashion museum!)
* when? next edition is sunday July 13 and Sept. 14, 12.00-18.00h
* what? fashion, accessories, jewelry, graphic & interior design, all handmade, all starting designers. The event is spiced up with live performances and deejays. And a bar. ;-)

I’m a participant to and great to meet You there.
For me it’s the first time on “markt van morgen”. My products are also sold in a shop in the Kloosterstraat.
Yesterday I was on Dubieus Design in Antwerp and it was a great success. I met the lady who is organizing the markt van morgen and she invited me.
