Good afternoon my dears,

Today we have a brand-spanking-new feature on the homepage for you to check out – we’re paying homage to the wonderful world of Steampunk!

If you’re not already aware of it, Steampunk is a design-aesthetic which mixes elements of Victoriana and Gothic with modern-day punk and technology. Think laptops in wood and brass casings, or jewellery with antiqued watch motifs. Blending old and new in a darkly funny way is what Steampunk is all about – it celebrates the scientific achievements and experiments of the Victorian era, with a nod to the independent punk sensibility which has sprung up in the 20th and 21st centuries.
