Mmmmmm…. bacon! Most breakfasty and delicious of meats and meat-related products. At DaWanda we love ourselves a bit of bacon in the mornings, and so boy were we excited when, about a year ago now, we discovered the tasty felted goodness of Antjes‘ bacon iPhone case. At last, bacon you can carry around in your pocket!

We weren’t the only ones to get excited… Antjes’ bacon case attracted the attention of bloggers and press all over the world, becoming one of the hottest (and meatiest) iPhone accessories available. Now we’re delighted to announce that this tastiest of cases will be exhibited alongside some of the coolest and craziest tech-toys and gadgets in the world at the Gizmodo Gallery in New York from September 23rd!

Many of you will already know Gizmodo as one of the biggest and most popular gadget and technology-related sites on the web. This year, for the second year running they’re hosting a magnificent gallery in the home of the weird and wonderful – New York City! Our little bacon case will travel all the way across the pond to be exhibited alongside such wonders as a robot which can spew out 200 pancakes an hour, a guitar which uses lasers for strings, a giant 3-D Etch-a-Sketch and a computer made by mud!
So if you’re in the Big Apple from Sept 23-27, be sure to swing by the Gizmodo Gallery to check it out. And if all this talk of bacon has left you feeling peckish, head on over to Antjes’ shop for even more bacon felted goodies, and lots more besides!
