So V-Day is fast on the approach, and the time has come to think about presents and, yes, as the title of this post suggest, Valentine’s Cards! I don’t know about you, but for me choosing cards has always been a heck of a lot easier than choosing presents. There are so many smart, funny and sweet ways to say ‘I Love You’ that you’re spoilt for choice.

To help you pick the card that’s perfect for you, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite handmade Valentine’s Cards on DaWanda:

Like this cute ‘Lab Partners’ card from the appropriately named cutiepie company. It’d be perfect for a geeky boyfriend or girlfriend. Plus the retro illustration and sweet colour-scheme make it the kind of card you want to pin up and show off.

This ‘I Love You’ card from Linotte is a personal favourite of mine. The illustration is beautiful, but the design is nice and simple, still. And it’s really quite ridiculously heartwarming – who could look at those two cute kids and not see how much they mean it?

And this notepad greeting card is perfect if you’re looking for a card which doubles as a gift. As the seller littleclouds herself says, “I came up with this idea as a way to tell my boyfriend what he means to me as feelings are sometimes easier written down.” As the title suggests, you can use the card to tell your sweetie ’10 Things I Love About You’ on each of its numbered pages, with a few more unnumbered in case ten just isn’t enough. The kind of thing you’d get out too look at whenever you need reminding how much you’re loved.

Here’s one for you lovers of visual puns (tell me we’re not a dying breed??). drearydaffodils‘You Make Me Toasty’ card is witty and refreshingly free of the typical hearts-and-flowers motifs – great for a guy or girl with a sense of humour and a love of that most tasty of food-groups. After all, what says ‘I love you’ more than serving up hot tea and toast in bed?
