New Shop of the Month: Earthy Leather

This month we have a fantastic, brand new shop of the month for you all the way from Taiwan! Sen creates these beautiful handcrafted leather bags in his studio, so we caught up with him to find out what goes on behind the scenes at Earthy Leather. Tell us a fun or unusual fact about yourself

I have been a singer/songwriter (professionally), a translator and now I’m a crafter.

What inspires your work?

Great photography and colour combinations

What made you decide to sell on DaWanda?

There are many other designer’s works on DaWanda that I really admire, and I thought it would be nice to join in this platform and them

Tell us about your typical day as a designer

I get up at 8:30 in the morning and then head to the studio with my partner and work till 9:30pm (a workaholic?)

What are your top trends for 2014?

Products in as many different colours as makes sense to me

What is your favourite DaWanda shop or product?

I really love this bag by alexbender

What is your motto in life?

Life isn’t about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself

Who or what is your design inspiration?

Anything interesting in my life. I like simplicity and I do apply this rule to my designs

Describe yourself in one sentence

A minimalist.

Do you add little surprises to your packaging for customers? If so, what?

Not really… but I change the colour of the wrapping paper all the time
